VOLUNTEER TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please ensure that you have read and understood the following terms and conditions before proceeding.


Certificate of Participation

All volunteers are awarded a merit-based certificate of participation, and additionally, a commendation letter for exceptional performance at the end of their community service.

Payments

Please note that the this role is voluntary and unpaid. No payments will be made during, or after you conclude your volunteer experience. Volunteer experiences lasting for a term (3 months) and above may be entitled to some allowances.

Professional Conduct

All Staff and volunteers at IAED are expected to remain professional when dispensing their assigned duties. IAED has a zero-tolerance policy against inappropriate behaviour towards fellow colleagues and beneficiaries.

Age Declaration

The SAL Classroom welcomes volunteers 16 Years and above, however, all volunteers below the age of 18 must present a duly signed consent letter by a parent or legal guardian at the start of their volunteer experience.

Agreement

By ticking the respective checkbox, you agree to join the classroom on a voluntary basis only. You also agree to forfeit your completion certificate if you fail to meet the attendance/performance criteria, i.e no-show or lack of engagement with assigned duties. You also agree that you have no history of unprofessional school or workplace conduct and that you will respect your fellow colleagues and beneficiaries and abide by company rules and regulations. You also agree that you are 18 years and above, and, if you are below the age of 18, that you have provided proof of endorsement from a parent or legal guardian. You also agree that IAED will not be held liable for any problems that may arise due to false declaration of information on your part.
